I know its been a while since I have written anything. SInce obeying Gods call and comming to Tennessee our family has been through a lot. God is showing us and others just how faithful He is to meet the needs when all seems like its falling apart.
EDGE Outreach Ministries is continuing to develop as God directs and as God provides.
As of Tuesday October 26,2010 we started a home Bible Study and today we held our first prayer meeting at our house.
God is starting to do amazing things and I am excited to see how God breaks down the things that are slowing our progress as a ministry.
Finances are still a big issue with getting things up and running so use the link to the left if God directs you to give.
ABove all I am asking for all who read this blog to interceede for this ministry and for its leaders.

We're Moved!!!!
We're finally moved to Tennesee!!! It was a long move but one that we are sure will be worth it. God has called us here and so the blessings will follow in His time.
I am in the process of job hunting so please be praying. Im a nurse and so hopefully it will not take too long. Also please be praying that God opens the door for us to buy a house soon.
We have some friends that will be moving to Tn in a couple of months. PLEASE pray for them and that the money needed will come.
I have no way of knowing who, or how many people visit this blog. If you are someone who does then please pray about supporting us. God has given us a great vision but we need help. Both through prayer and through financial support. Thank you to all who are already supproting this ministry.

Moving Forward
Things continue to move forward with our upcoming move to Tennessee. We will offically be moving on the 26th of July. Over the past few weeks God has been showing Himself present and working in our lives in exciting ways. We had a really good service last Sunday in which God gave us an opportunity to give several words of knowledge, prophetic words and Spiritual encouragement to keep moving forward in Gods plan for them. Many people came to the alter to recieve deliverance and God was faithful to meet them there. We are looking forward to hearing the praise reports from those that recieved from God.
God is also beginning to show Diana and I other areas in which He wants EDGE to operate and outreach here stateside.
Please be praying for us and our upcoming move, but also be praying that Diana and I are careful to listen to the Holy Spirits leading. It's very easy to get caught up in what God is doing and unintentionally get ahead of Gods timing for things. This is especially the case with me.
We are very excited about the prospect of full time missions, but at the same time we have to be careful not to neglect anything God may want us to do here. So please pray for us.
We have a new DONATE button to the right for those who feel led to give to this ministry. In addition to filing our 501c3 paperwork,which will cost $800, we also need to open a buisness account at the bank which is about $250.
Right now we are using an account with Paypal but this poses several limitations,so we are eager to get this new account. Please give as God leads you.
Diana and I would like to thank those who are praying for us and this ministry and we would also like to say thank you to those who are obedient in giving.

Subtle Encouragement
Things are still on track for our move to Tennessee in July. Diana and I are eager to see what God has planned. Opportunities for future ministry are starting to become available and more people now know about this ministry.
We really need and value your prayers. If God is to move its going to take a lot of prayer. Please pray that God meets the needs not only for our family but for those God chooses to bring into this ministry.
Our website edgeoutreachministries.org has been updated a bit. My amazing tech savvy wife Diana is to thank for that. More changes and updates will come over the next few weeks, including a link for those wishing to financially support us.
Soon after we arrive in Tennessee we will begin forming a fund raising strategy. We will need to raise between $30,000 - $50,000 in order to put a team on the ground in Uganda full time. So please be praying about what you should give to this ministry and be looking for that link.

The Fight Begins
Its been a while since my last post and I apologize. God is continuing to move things forward and to open doors.
Our website is now operational and will have updates and improvements soon. God is continuing to show me and Diana that His plans and His will often come with the price the unknown. Recently I heard a message about how, when Jesus chose His Disciples, all Jesus said to them was "Follow Me"...
Jesus NEVER gave any explanation to this command nor did Jesus ever promise anything to those 12 men. In fact, it was the unknown into which they were called. Only after complete surrender and obedience did they receive the knowledge and understanding that they wanted. After stepping out into the unknown God was able to use them with great power and wonder.
God has told my wife and I to move to Tennessee and transfer EDGE Outreach Ministries to that state. We have very limited resources and are in a position which Satan is using the unknown and fear to try and halt the hand of God. Not only on our family and ministry but also on others.
We have been praying that God would send people which He has chosen to stand with us. We believe that God is beginning to anser that prayer prayer and Satan is attempting to stand in theway yet again.
I refuse to allow a defeated, pathetic being to halt what my all powerful God has commanded to be done. I will not back down nor will I waiver in Gods calling.
I want to encourage all who read this to stand strong in Gods hand. Do not let what you see become larger than Gods might. God will do what He says He will do.
Romans 11:29 God's gifts and God's call are under full warranty—never canceled, never rescinded.

A Step Forward
Well, we finally got our paperwork back from the state and now EDGE Outreach Ministries International is a legally recognized organization! We are finishing up some loose ends with our website and will be posting it soon. Steps have been taken to close up things with the IRS. Gotta love uncle Sam.
As stated before our final big loose end is going to be getting 501c3 approved. It is going to take a minimum of $450.
We need help with the cost. Over the next few days we will be posting a link so that you may give to this ministry if you feel led to do so. It would be greatly appreciated.

Update
There was a slight delay in the filing of our paperwork. That delay was fixed today and the new set of state papers has been sent. Now it is only a matter of time!! I talked with a friend today who has experience in establishing nonprofit outreach ministries. We learned that there is a $850.00 filing fee with the IRS in order to file our 501c3 paperwork. We have several weeks to go before we are ready to start that process but at least we know what to pray for. My awesome and very talented wife has been doing some creative brain storming and the layout of our website is in the planning!! Please pray for our financial needs and that God will have his way in this ministry and in our family.

The Beginning
While EDGE Outreach ministries is, as of yet, only a vision and dream the steps to
make it reality have begun. As of Feb. 16, 2010 the money was spent and the process started to make EDGE Ministries a legally recognized nonprofit ministry!!!! Our next step will be to file for 501c3 tax exempt status. We have been told that it will take approximately 3-4 weeks to get our legal nonprofit Inc. status and then an additional 4-6 weeks to get our 501c3 tax exempt status. Please be praying for us that the process will go faster then expected and without problems or setbacks.
I thought I would let you know a little about myself and my family and so I posted to the right some information that may help you to know us a bit better.
As for the name EDGE, God laid this name on my heart almost 2 years ago. EDGE stands for the four phases of outreach ministry ~ Evangelize Desciple Grow and Equip believers. Everything EDGE does and will do, will be desgined around these four pirnciples. It is our desire and calling to minister to both the church body and to the lost alike. As a result we will be activly praying for God to show us ways in which to partner with and assist other ministries.
I am excited to see what the Lord does over the next year. God is reminding me that even though EDGE Ministries is about to be up and running that it is still all done in His time and acccordingto His Will. Please be praying for the easy start up of this new ministry and for myself and my family as there are, and will be, many hard challenges for us to face in the near future.
About a week or two ago God laid this statement on my heart ~ “Mercy for the Needs”. After talking about it, thinking about it and even trying to forget it, thedecesion was made. The first part of the operating slogan for Edge Ministries will be “Mercy for the Needs”. God immediately built upon this by dealing with my wife on the second half of our slogan ~ “Gaining Ground for God”. These two statement sum up our mission. “Mercy for the needs, Gaining Grounf for God”
Please pray that God will provide the finances needed to begin meeting the many needs of both the lost and the church. More will be added to this blog site shortly, including a link for those whishing to support us financially.
